WebMeeting Tuesday!! + Portfolio Day and Speakers

Hey Guys,

We have had a couple of un-eventful weeks - as the semester winds down, it's time to get back on track and squeeze some fun stuff in.

Here are a few things we need to talk about.

• Portfolio Day 6/5/2010 - $25
  It's hard to get good feedback on your work. 25 bucks gets you a BIG list of designers who will tell you what you need to hear, plus there is a free after party included. It's a sweet deal. Let's make it a group thing!
  
  REGISTER HERE as soon as you can, and we'll discuss when and if we can go as a group.
  
  Since this year's portfolio day is after the semester is over, it's a good chance for us to go as a group but unofficially....

• Web Meeting!! -- 4/27 @ 7:45pm
  This coming tuesday - the 27th, we will be having an online meeting - this is to test out the idea and to talk about a few things we need everybody in on. A quick ten minutes should be good. Everybody please join in. It's easy - just click the link below.
  
  The chatroom isn't the best, but it's quick and easy so people can just jump in. Just follow the link and type your name when you get there. Ask if you have questions! Any problems, email me timomeara@hotmail.com

• GreeCup is coming to talk to us on May 4th.
  Greencup is a project on campus and in the community promoting a compostable cup to replace the classic red cup that litter our streets in Chico. They're coming to talk to us at our next in-person meeting, which is May 4th at 7pm in 228. We may want to collaborate on them for an event or fundraising before the semester is over - they're very interested.
  
  
• Other stuff
  Those of you who designed t-shirts are going to be rewarded somehow...maybe we'll get a spot in the cases for your designs. Thanks for working on those! We can still see if we actually want to buy tshirts, but since the semester is on it's way out - it is no longer at the top of our list. Thanks again.
  
  People with pics from SF - bring your pictures to school on a drive so we can post them!
